Where can I take IELTS?
You can take IELTS at authorized test centers in many cities across India, often located in universities, language institutes, or IDP offices. The official IELTS website provides a searchable list of centers near you.
How much does it cost?
In India, the IELTS test fee is usually around ₹18,000, depending on the type of IELTS test (Academic, General Training, UKVI, or Life Skills). Always check the official IELTS website or your local test center for the latest fee.

Do I take all parts of the test on the same day? Which part do I take first?
The Listening, Reading, and Writing sections are taken on the same day, in that order, without breaks in between.
The Speaking test may be on the same day or scheduled up to a week before or after the other sections, depending on the test center’s arrangement.
